ADA-compliant websites
A website every client can use. Built to the standard, and documented.
Accessibility is a legal exposure for firms that serve the public and a service standard for their clients. We audit, fix, or rebuild your site to WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard most often referenced in ADA website claims, and we give you the documentation that shows the work.
This site is built the same way: every page passes automated WCAG 2.1 AA checks.
Why this matters for a licensed firm
-
Claims target businesses that serve the public
Website accessibility demand letters and lawsuits under the ADA have become a routine cost of doing business for firms with a public-facing site, and professional firms are not exempt.
-
Your clients include people who need it
Older clients, clients with low vision, clients who navigate by keyboard: an inaccessible site quietly turns them away before they ever call.
-
Accessible sites are better sites
The same work that makes a site usable with a screen reader makes it faster, clearer, and easier for search engines to understand. Accessibility and performance overlap almost completely.
-
It is a reputation signal
A published accessibility statement and a site that actually meets it say something about how a firm treats people. That is the kind of detail careful buyers notice.
What we check and fix
Against WCAG 2.1 AA, page by page, with automated testing and a manual pass.
Color and contrast
Text and controls meet AA contrast on every surface, including buttons, links, and labels.
PerceivableKeyboard navigation
Every link, button, form, and menu works without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
OperableScreen reader structure
Proper headings, landmarks, labels, and alt text so assistive technology can read the page in order.
PerceivableForms that explain themselves
Labels on every field, errors that say what went wrong, and consent language that is readable.
UnderstandableMotion and media
Animations respect reduced-motion settings; video and audio get captions or transcripts.
OperableReadable type and layout
Text that resizes without breaking, sensible line lengths, and layouts that work on a phone.
Robust
Two ways to get there
Remediate the site you have
When the site is otherwise sound, we fix it in place.
- Full audit with a prioritized findings report
- Fixes applied to templates, components, and content
- Re-test of every page, automated and manual
- An accessibility statement page published on your site
Rebuild it accessible from the start
When the site is the weak point, a rebuild is faster than a patch, and it comes with our brand and web work.
- Designed to AA from the first component, not retrofitted
- Built to convert visitors into consultations
- Written inside your profession's advertising rules
- Optional ongoing monitoring as content changes
The honest line
No one can promise a website will never draw a claim, and anyone who does is selling something else. What we can do is build to the standard, test every page, publish the statement, and hand you the documentation. That is what a good-faith accessibility program looks like, and it is what we deliver.
WCAG 2.1 AACommon questions
Is an accessibility overlay or widget enough?
No. Overlays that add a floating accessibility menu do not fix the underlying code, and sites using them continue to draw claims. Real accessibility is built into the pages themselves.
How long does remediation take?
An audit takes days, not weeks. Remediation depends on the site: a template-driven site with a handful of page types is usually weeks; a large legacy site can take longer, and we tell you which you have after the audit.
Does this come with a plan or on its own?
Either. Accessibility work is scoped per engagement like our other brand and web work. Firms on a plan often add it during onboarding; firms that only need the site fixed can start there.
